Basic Meals Boot Camp

Learn some foundation cooking skills while pulling together a fantastic meal!

Led by chef Gloria.

Friday, October 25th for a 6pm start.

This menu will take you through some basic, foundation skills that will help you with many dishes! While creating this menu, you will learn knife skills, marinating, grilling, rice cooking and some pastry basics! Doing this while learning to balance flavors and textures in individual dishes and a full meal.

Notes: All items except the dessert are Gluten and Dairy-Free.

 

Additional Notes

–BYOB or packaged snacks are not permitted at Chef Alyssa’s Kitchen. We have a great menu of  alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks along with snacks.

-If you are joining as a single ticket you will be sharing a table with 3 other guests for a table of 4. Please note, just as in all CAK events each guest will be sharing equipment, tools, prep and ultimately the food they’ve made during the class with their table-mates. If you’re registering with 3 guests in your party, you may be asked to be at different tables (though near each other) 

-1 ticket is for 1 person

-Please do not register if you’re experiencing any COVID-19 related symptoms

The parking lot entrance is off Yancey Rd. Our building is located on the backside of the brewery (Brewers at Yancey), which is the opposite part of the building as their front door. There is additional street parking off Yancey and Southside Dr. There is a staircase entrance to Bowers parking from Southside Dr located behind Escape Tactic.
