Decorated Holiday Cake Workshop: Fruit Filled Holiday Spice Cake with Caramel Drip
This workshop is led by Chef Alyssa’s Kitchen pastry extraordinaire, Emily Beck.
Fruit compote plus delicious frosting is a fantastic way to make a seasonal cake! We will make compotes including orange marmalade and fig jam to fill inside your own 6” spice cake. We will ice the cake and finish it with a caramel drip. This class is led by our team member Emily Beck. She also is the owner of Bless Your Art Bakery, making custom cakes for all types of occasions from birthdays to weddings.
Focused Skills: Slicing and leveling layer cake, making compote, crumb coat, making clean edges, making caramel and temperatures for drip method, spice cake recipe

At Bowers Mill
The parking lot entrance is off Yancey Rd. Our building is located on the backside of the brewery (Brewers at Yancey), which is the opposite part of the building as their front door. There is additional street parking off Yancey and Southside Dr. There is a staircase entrance to Bowers parking from Southside Dr located behind Escape Tactic.
