Vegetarian at Heart
You definitely do not need to be a vegetarian to appreciate this class. However, if you happen to be one, you know the importance of finding nutritional balance in your dishes. Ripe, crisp vegetables are a great edition to any meal and if you are trying to take a healthy approach to cooking, this class is perfect! Building great flavor without cooking with meat is a wonderful skill to hone and not as challenging as you may think.
The dishes you will be cooking in this class are Spaghetti Squash with oven roasted tomatoes, spinach pesto, roasted tempeh and spiced squash seeds; Chickpea Crepes with yogurt sauce; Raw Asparagus Salad with red onion marmalade; Eggplant Dip and even your very own seeded crackers.
Please be sure to arrive 15 to 20 minutes early as of our class will begin promptly at 6:30 PM. Chef Alyssa with give your taste-buds a kick from the very beginning by preparing a tasting of a Smoky Mushroom BLT for everyone to enjoy before class.
Like all of our classes, you will be at a 4 person tables working together with your group to produce everything Chef Alyssa has in store for you. Let us as soon as you sign up about any allergies or medical conditions that may affect you during class.
After we finish cooking, we will sit down to enjoy our food and try some tasty drinks! Our classes are BYOB for beer and wine only. Please remember safety is a top concern.

At Bowers Mill
The parking lot entrance is off Yancey Rd. Our building is located on the backside of the brewery (Brewers at Yancey), which is the opposite part of the building as their front door. There is additional street parking off Yancey and Southside Dr. There is a staircase entrance to Bowers parking from Southside Dr located behind Escape Tactic.
