Session B2: June 15-18 (M – F)
Ages 11-18
9 am to 1 pm each day
Session B2: June 15-18th
Welcome to our Teen Baking Camps!
Each one of the 4-day long camp will be a mix of Baking Methods and Pastry Artistry. Campers will learn classic techniques that will develop their skills and understanding of baking. They will enjoy their creations as well as bring home plenty to share!
Back for the 8th year (though our 12th year for summer camps), each camp runs Monday – Thursday from 9am to 1pm within our cooking space at Bowers in Lower South End. Our Camps are meant to be more then your “cookie-cutter” and “kitchy” cooking school. Chef Alyssa’s Kitchen wants to teach the young chefs fantastic dishes! We do kindly request that your child has some experience cooking with a parent in the kitchen before signing up.
All recipes are designed by Chef Alyssa and led by our pastry chef instructor team made up of full-time team members with baking and pastry degrees and years of industry experience.
Our baking camps incorporate both sweet and savory items in order to develop our camper’s skills. Each technique will be taught in a process that will make it easy to master and feel like a seasoned baker!
Our 2026 Baking Camps are led by pastry chef Morgan Willette of Chef Alyssa’s Kitchen
We request some previous baking experience for this camp. Ages 11-18 only. Please email [email protected] for any questions.
Pricing for each session is $378, which includes everything (including a daily snack). It’s best to sign-up early as our camps will sell out in advance. Tickets are non-refundable after May 1st, 2026
We will avoid all nuts in this camp, it can also be made vegetarian. Unfortunately, gluten, dairy and egg allergies cannot be accommodated.
Campers will eat what they’ve made each day. It will not amount to a traditional lunch, however Chef Alyssa’s Kitchen will provide a hearty and nutritious snack at 10:30am each day that will be filling enough to hold campers until camp concludes.
Each child will receive an apron (first year campers) or other gift (returning campers) and recipe book to take home. Please let us know by e-mail about any allergies as soon as possible. If your camper is signing up with other siblings or friends please note that based upon the number of campers who know each other, we will do our best to keep them together. However, we may have to adjust table settings but if your camper signed up with multiple friends or siblings but we guarantee they will be with at least 1 friend each day.
Please list all allergen information when signing up. This camp cannot be made gluten, dairy or egg free unfortunately. Note: This event will hold up to 16 campers (4 groups of 4). We require they bring a Tupperware container daily for any additional items they will be bringing home.Â
Camp cancellations: see below for policies. Please note there is a $25 fee for any camp cancellations.
